We started by building a photo product for families. To make childhood memories feel present, we learned how to push albums and calendars onto phones, tablets, TVs, desktops, and watches — and keep those surfaces in sync from afar.

Along the way we realized we were already remotely controlling thousands of devices. That capability lines up almost exactly with digital signage: schedule content, update it instantly, and keep every display reliable without standing in front of each screen.

After looking at the market, we felt pricing was wrong and the offering could be better. Too many suites lock you into proprietary players and per-screen fees that punish growth. We already had the remote-display technology, so we could offer a separate product for businesses that need to put content on screens easily — without hardware tax.
